Sie hat 4.283 Einwohner im Jahr 2022, die Villeneuvoises und Villeneuvoises genannt werden, und ist Teil des Ballungsraums B\u00e9ziers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jahrhundert von Simon de Montfort gemartert wurde, trug es eine Zeit lang den Namen \"La Cr\u00e9made\". Heute sind im historischen Zentrum noch viele Zeugnisse der Vergangenheit erhalten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Die romanische Kirche Sainte-Etienne<\/strong>Das Geb\u00e4ude ist im Zusatzinventar der historischen Monumente eingetragen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Der Turm des Schlosses<\/strong> und die \u00dcberreste der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauern.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Das alte Rathaus<\/strong>Das Geb\u00e4ude wurde 1780 erbaut und beherbergt heute einen Ausstellungsraum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eine nat\u00fcrliche Umgebung und eine privilegierte Lage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Villeneuve-l\u00e8s-B\u00e9ziers wird vom Canal du Midi durchzogen, der zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe geh\u00f6rt, und bietet eine bezaubernde Umgebung, in der Kulturerbe und Natur aufeinandertreffen. Die Gemeinde umfasst auch ein Natura 2000-Gebiet und zwei Naturgebiete von \u00f6kologischem Interesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es ist ideal gelegen, nur 10 Minuten von den Str\u00e4nden entfernt, in der N\u00e4he der Autobahnen A9 und A75, des Flughafens B\u00e9ziers - Cap d'Agde und des TGV-Bahnhofs.
