Their use is governed by decree 2019-140 of 27 February 2019, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.villeneuve-les-beziers.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Arrete_Prefectoral_camera_pietons_vlb_15_04_19.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prefectoral decree no. 2019-01-359 of 15 April 2019<\/a><\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.villeneuve-les-beziers.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/2019-098-PM_Port_camera_individuelle.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-darkreader-inline-color=\"\">municipal by-law no. 2019-098-PM of 23 April 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The law strictly regulates the use of \"pedestrian cameras\" and provides the following guarantees for citizens and users.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The camera port is visible <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oral information of the persons concerned is recommended, except in special circumstances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A \"specific visual signal\" is visible when the recording is activated;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff who are supplied with individual cameras cannot have direct access to the recordings they make.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The images and sounds captured are stored in secure areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to recordings is strictly controlled and limited<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The images and sounds recorded are kept for 6 months and destroyed at the end of this period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The right of access to files is exercised indirectly by requesting the CNIL to examine the conformity of the images and sounds stored (article 41 of law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms and article 41 of law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms and article 41 of law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=JORFTEXT000038175494&amp;categorieLien=id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Article 241-15-III of decree 2019-140 of 27 February 2019<\/strong><\/a> relating to the processing of personal data from the personal cameras of municipal police officers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les agents de police municipale sont autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 porter les cam\u00e9ras individuelles en vue de proc\u00e9der aux enregistrements audiovisuels de leurs interventions.
