{"id":979,"date":"2019-04-15T15:49:14","date_gmt":"2019-04-15T13:49:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/?page_id=979"},"modified":"2024-11-22T15:46:18","modified_gmt":"2024-11-22T14:46:18","slug":"declaration-of-dogs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.villeneuve-les-beziers.fr\/en\/demarches\/declaration-de-chiens\/","title":{"rendered":"Declaration of 1st and 2nd category dogs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In accordance with the legislative and regulatory provisions relating to dangerous animals, if you are the owner or keeper of 1st and 2nd category dogs, you have been obliged since 1 January 2010 to obtain a possession permit (for dogs over 1 year old) or a provisional possession permit (for dogs under eight months old) from your local town hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The issue of one of these permits is subject to the submission, to the Police Municipale, of a file comprising the following documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Police Municipale, place Gabriel P\u00e9ri 34420 Villeneuve-l\u00e8s-B\u00e9ziers<br>Tel.: 04.67.39.90.01<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The declaration must be made by the dog's owner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documents to be presented<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dog booklet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification card (with tattoo number)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid rabies vaccination certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid insurance certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For 1st category dogs: sterilisation certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner's aptitude certificate issued by an approved trainer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificate of behavioural assessment of the dog issued by an approved vet.
