What does the law say? We'll tell you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work involving the use of noisy equipment (lawnmowers, tillers, chain saws, drills, etc.) is subject to legally defined working hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pr\u00e9fet has set timetables that apply to all communes in the H\u00e9rault,\u00a0<strong>private individuals can carry out their work:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>working days from 8.30am to 12pm and from 2.30pm to 7.30pm;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Saturdays from 9am to 12pm and from 3pm to 7pm;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 12pm.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These rules apply to all noisy tools (hedge trimmers, chain saws, tillers, drills, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read the decree :<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.villeneuve-les-beziers.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/arrete_bruit-ap.pdf\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Public and private worksites<\/strong>\u00a0are not subject to the same timetables as private individuals.
