The H\u00e9rault Prefect has decided to to introduce new restrictive measures by Prefectoral decree of 12 August 2025<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For more information on the current decree and the situation in your commune, go to State services website<\/a>where you will find reference documents on the drought (including Framework Drought Order DDTM34-2025-04-15839 of 22 April 2025<\/a>) and the situation at 5 august 2025<\/a> (order accompanied by the map of alert zones<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that a list of communes whose territory is wholly or partly affected by the different warning zones is appended to this document. Framework Drought Order DDTM34-2025-04-15839 of 22 April 2025<\/a>. As some communes are affected by several alert zones (e.g. Canal du Midi and Axe Orb, which cross the alert zone for the Astien sands water table), the measures that apply depend on the resource concerned by the use.

Individuals, professionals (businesses, farms) and local authorities can find out, in real time, the alert level for water resources and the restrictions on use that apply to a given commune by using the H\u00e9rault DDTM tool.
