The CCAS runs a general prevention and social development programme in close liaison with public and private institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CCAS is a public administrative body with legal personality under public law and its own budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In accordance with Articles L.123-6, R.123-11 and R.123-12 of the French Social Action and Family Code :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CCAS Board of Directors is made up of an equal number of elected municipal representatives and people appointed by the Mayor from among those \u00abinvolved in social, prevention and development activities in the Commune\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25aa These persons must include at least:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a representative of family associations appointed on the recommendation of the Union D\u00e9partementale des Associations Familiales,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a representative of associations working to promote inclusion and combat social exclusion,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a representative of the department's associations for the elderly and retired,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a representative of associations for people with disabilities in the department,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25aa How to apply<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The associations concerned can nominate people to represent them on the CCAS Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each association must submit a list of at least three candidates, unless duly justified as being unable to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25aa Candidacy requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nominees must :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be mandated by their association, whose head office must be in the d\u00e9partement,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>take part in preventive, promotional or social development initiatives in the community,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not be a supplier of goods or services to the CCAS or have a service relationship with it,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not be a member of the municipal council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25aa Deadline and method of submission<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications should be sent to the Mayor <strong>no later than Monday 6 April 2026<\/strong>&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt for the attention of the Mayor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>or delivered directly to the Town Hall 1 Rue de la Marianne 34420 VILLENEUVE-LES-BEZIERS against acknowledgement of receipt,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>or sent by e-mail to: juridique@villeneuve-les-beziers.fr <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c0 la suite des\u00a0\u00e9lections municipales du 15 mars 2026, le Conseil d\u2019Administration du Centre Communal d\u2019Action Sociale (CCAS) sera renouvel\u00e9 lequel anime une action g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de pr\u00e9vention et de d\u00e9veloppement social en liaison \u00e9troite avec les institutions publiques et priv\u00e9es.
