As part of our policy to improve the quality of life and sIn order to reduce the amount of traffic, the municipality has decided to create a "meeting zone" in the heart of the village.
This scheme, provided for in the Highway Code, aims to promote harmonious cohabitation between pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, while enhancing the attractiveness and conviviality of our town centre.

This is an area where vehicle speeds are limited to 20 km/h and where pedestrians have priority on the entire carriageway.
Cyclists can travel in both directions, unless otherwise indicated, and parking is only permitted in designated spaces.

There are several reasons for creating this zone:
Making it safer for pedestrians, especially children and the elderly;
Encourage soft mobility and alternative modes of transport;
Revitalising the town centre by promoting exchanges and local life.

The contact zone covers the area shown in red on the attached map.
Specific signage will be installed to inform all users.

The meeting zone will be in place from June onwards.
