The Town Hall invites the public to gather on Thursday 14 August 2025 at 7.00 pm in front of the memorial to Lieutenant Rodney Maurice Rodgers, to pay tribute to all those who fought for freedom and peace.
On this day of remembrance, we will be honouring the Provence Landings on 15 August 1944 and the liberation of our commune seven days later, putting an end to the yoke of the Nazi occupiers.
This moment of remembrance will be an opportunity to recall the courage, sacrifice and legacy of the men and women who helped Villeneuve-lès-Béziers regain its freedom.
Together, we can keep the memory alive.
