Ecological inventories
As part of the Montpellier-Perpignan New Line project, and more specifically phase 1 between Montpellier and Béziers, botanists commissioned by SNCF RESEAU are currently carrying out ecological inventories at Les Vernets.
These interventions are part of a strictly non-destructive approach:
- The teams of botanists will access the site by car only on the tracks that are passable, then on foot.
- There will be no installation or storage of equipment.
- The surveys will be carried out over several days.
SNCF RESEAU agents and those of the companies it commissions are authorised by prefectoral decree to enter private property.
