The new prefectoral decree n°DDTM34-2025-04-15800published on 8 April 2025, imposes new rules for clearing undergrowth to combat forest fires 🚒🌳
📍 Our commune is classified HIGH RISK !
🧹 This applies to you if :
✅ You own a house, plot of land, building site or facility in an urban area or near a forest.
✅ Your plot is less than 200 metres from a wooded area, scrubland or maquis.
📏 What you need to do:
* Clear the undergrowth within a 50-metre radius of your house or facility
* Cut tall grass, dense shrubs and prune trees (respecting safety distances).
* Maintain undeveloped land in urban areas
* Remove cut vegetation
💸 There are penalties:
up to a €50/m² fine, formal notice and compulsory work at your expense!
