Update @meteofrance has placed the Hérault department under orange vigilance 1TP5Hurricane since 12.00 noon on Sunday 10 August.
This Monday 11 August, maximum temperatures will be in the region of 38 to 40 degrees inland and 33 to 36 degrees on the coast.
The heatwave will continue until at least Tuesday.

Keep cool (at home or in an air-conditioned room)
-Drink water regularly (without waiting until you're thirsty)
-Refresh your body (showers, sprays...)
-Close the shutters and windows during the day and air out at night
-Favour calm activities
-Eat light, fresh and balanced
-Avoid alcohol
-Check in regularly with those close to you, especially the most vulnerable.

Municipal plan in place via the Local Emergency Response Plan (Plan Communal de Sauvegarde)
As part of the national heatwave plan, the municipality is implementing measures to support residents:
-Raising awareness
-Monitoring vulnerable people
-Refreshments available
-A register of people at risk is available from the CCAS.
