Full statement from Hervé Lagrange, Head of Schools Dear Parents, Here is some information to help you prepare for your children’s return to school: The start of term is approaching; it will take place on Tuesday 1 September. The timetables for 2026–27 remain unchanged: set your watches! The gates will open at 8.20 am and 1.50 pm. Class lists will be displayed in the school playgrounds for your information on the morning of the first day of term, before 8.20 am. Primary school: from Year 1 to Year 6. 14 July commemorative ceremony

Fabrice Solans, Mayor of Villeneuve-lès-Béziers, invites you to the commemorative ceremony this Monday, 14 July at 11.00 am, in front of the statue of Marianne, next to the Town Hall. Small tricolour flags will be handed out so that we can all share in this moment of republican pride. Following the ceremony, a reception will be hosted by the local council and the local branch of the FOPAC veterans’ organisation at the Maison de la Mémoire du Combattant, Place Samuel Paty. Registration opens for school transport

Registration for school transport for the 2025–2026 academic year will open on 10 June 2025. Families must register their children via the online service by 31 July*. Regardless of the transport network used, every pupil must have a valid travel pass. Even if travel is free of charge, this pass must be validated each time the pupil boards the vehicle.
