Telethon 2025, Villeneuve-lès-Béziers is getting involved!

From 5 to 7 December 2025, the Espace des Libertés Gérard Saumade will host a wide range of events as part of the Telethon. This year, “Booste ta Commune” is at the heart of the initiatives organised by the local council and local organisations – a charity challenge in aid of the Telethon. In the presence of the patron of the 2025 Telethon: Romain Abellan. On the programme: Sports demonstrations, shows, a play, bingo and other activities, refreshments and food. 2025 Food Bank Collection

Yellow watch for thunderstorms and flooding

Météo France a placé le département de l’Hérault en vigilance jaune SMS (situation météorologique à surveiller) orages et pluie inondation jeudi 6 novembre 2025, entre 12h et minuit. Sur l’ensemble de l’épisode, des cumuls 40 à 70 mm généralisés et localement 80 mm, jusqu’à 100-120 mm sur les reliefs du Minervois à l’Espinouse sont attendus. Des rafales de vents pourront atteindre 80 km/h sur le littoral. La plus grande vigilance est recommandée durant cet évènement, notamment au niveau des déplacements. Read more

Météo France has placed the Hérault département under a yellow wind alert on Thursday 23 October. Gusts of 90 to 110 kph are expected on the plains, rising to 100 to 120 kph on the higher ground. Extreme vigilance is required during this phenomenon. Read more
